DESCRIPTION
HANTAI Chopped Silica Fiber (strands, threads, yarn) is a super high temperature insulation material made of glass with SiO2 content 94% -96%, or SiO2 content ≥98%, withstanding continuous working temperature ≥1000°C. This material is extremely inert to the majority of chemical reagents, resistant to organic, mineral acids and weak alkalis even at high temperatures (except of hydrofluoric, phosphoric and hydrochloric acid), and stable in vacuum
It is mainly used for production of silica fiber needled felt/mat, having wide application in automobile, shipbuilding, metallurgy, atomic power engineering, insulation in electric and combustion furnaces. And it can be also used as raw material for silica paper and reinforcement of plastics
